Stress and anxiety in speaking in public is something that everybody goes through at least once in their life. Plus, I have rarely if not never declined the opportunities to improve my public speaking ability. I even volunteer for the possibility to talk in front of people on any subject.

This is standard recommendations and still very important! You should understand your material and I do not indicate that you should memorize it. Do not remember. Internalize. Be so knowledgeable about your product that you can talk with good friends about it easily. Also, understand more than you would ever tell in a discussion. That method if you happen to forget something (and you will) you have additional material to access. Plus, keep in mind that your audience does not know if you forgot something. As far as they know, the method you provide a speech is how you planned to give it.

A few of us will say that is something that you don't face everyday, we are not used to do it and we do not understand what/how it can establish. So, basically we can pretend that is the fear of unidentified.

If you lose your breath, you lose your voice. Just prior to speaking, you can do some deep breathing to assist calm yourself: take in read more through your nose and fill your abdomen, hold this breath for 10 seconds and exhale slowly, pushing the air out with your abdomen.
